Ranfurly starting to produce

Hi all, just back from a very successful 5 day trip to Ranfurly with a keen group of boys from Taiwan. With a lot of small Kingi's in the shallows at the moment bait was the way to go for the bigger fish, livies and flying fish accounting for the majority, while the jigs just proved to easy for the rats to pounce on. Bottom fish are around in good numbers, though nothing huge to speak of thus far. On a different note a massive Thresher estimated at 350kg provided some entertainment by night while drifting for swords, though unfortunately no photos showed it's true size. Till next week cheers Phil

Lin with a nice one in the mid twenties
