Hi all, another nice fish landed the other night, started off by Eric (below), and finished off by John in the chair. With the first run peeling off 500m of line on 23 kg's of drag, this fish really showed the awesome power that Blue fin are renowned for. Till next time cheers, Phil.

Hi all, just back from another successful Bluefin trip resulting in this impressive Northern which taped out at a massive 332kg's. One of Cova's more interesting battles, the fight started out on an electric reel which seized after 30 minutes. At this point the line was cut, a very hasty back to back uni knot was tied, and the fight resumed on our standard gear with the fish landed in just under an hour. The Hoki are only now starting to turn up in decent numbers, with the trawlers starting to see some decent hauls the tuna should be easier to find in the coming weeks, till next time cheers, Phil.

Ken and Ice happy with the result of a team effort.

Hi all, just back from our first Bluefin trip for the season which produced this 140kg Southern, a nice fish on the stand- up gear. Another much larger fish was also unfortunately lost, the hook pulling around 20m from the boat after an hour and a half fight and a brief glimpse of the fish. Cheers, Phil.
